Y NDER
The last textbook you'll ever need

What makes Yonder different: a real neural tutor lives inside a device you lock to a single purpose, your student's education. Fully automated schooling that you design and own that it faithfully carries out.

A neural tutor on the device: Pip runs on a small on-device neural engine that reads handwriting, uses Rhema™ to listen as they read aloud and run full memorization exercises, and explains lessons, all offline
Locked and quiet: fully offline capable, with no games, feeds, or browser; only emergency and approved calls get through. You choose: fully lock the device, or let it unlock only after the day's schoolwork is finished, completely up to you as the parent.
Handwriting first, so it can't be cheated: every answer is written by hand and read by Pip, so it can't be typed, pasted, or AI-generated. From copywork to full essays, graded on the device, with you as the final say.
Bring your own: use the included K-12 curriculum and living library, or load your own curriculum and books onto smart devices you already own. Yonder is built to work for you.

Yonder carries the lessons, the explaining, and the grading, on a screen that is locked, quiet, and walked by hand.

THE SECOND JUNGLE BOOK
RED DOG

It was after the letting in of the Jungle that the pleasantest part of Mowgli’s life began. He had the good conscience that comes from paying debts; all the Jungle was his friend, and just a little afraid of him.

The things that he did and saw and heard when he was wandering from one people to another, with or without his four companions, would make many many stories, each as long as this one. So you will never be told how he met the Mad Elephant of Mandla, who killed two-and-twenty bullocks drawing eleven carts of coined silver to the Government Treasury, and scattered the shiny rupees in the dust;

how he fought Jacala, the Crocodile, all one long night in the Marshes of the North, and broke his skinning-knife on the brute’s back-plates; how he found a new and longer knife round the neck of a man who had been killed by a wild boar, and how he tracked that boar and killed him as a fair price for the knife.

PIP“conscience” reads a little off, Master John. Pinned to your map for later.

TO THE PIONEERS
OUR PROMISES

Choosing to homeschool is a brave road, and the ones who walk it deserve respect and the means to instruct well. These are the promises Yonder makes to you so you can travel it well.

I.You don't have to be the expert.

Pip explains every lesson out loud, at your child's level, as many times as it takes.

II.No gaps to lose sleep over.

A complete K-12 course of study walks in order, day by day, and you can see every step they take.

III.The day carries itself.

Three honest stops on the morning page, graded as they go. No lesson prep at midnight, no burnout by October.

IV.A screen you can finally trust.

Locked to the curriculum, nothing to scroll, nothing tracking them. The device becomes a book. And on a phone, an emergency override always breaks through: emergency services and a parent-approved list of contacts can be dialed no matter what.

V.Real life stays the classroom.

Afield assignments send them outside at intervals you choose, because physical health supports mind health. Camera in hand, the world in front of them.

IX.Reading, learned aloud.

As they read to Pip, Rhema listens and helps their pronunciation word by word, and a living library of real books is included to grow on.

X.Writing that stays their own.

From first copywork to full essays, Pip reads their handwriting and grades it, and built-in checks mean the work can never be faked.

VI.It stays within reach.

Subsidized by a small team of passionate people so cost never decides who gets to learn this way.

VII.Their story stays home.

Your family's information is yours alone. It never touches an outside server; it lives on your devices and nowhere else.

VIII.No philosophy homework required.

Charlotte Mason or Classical? Yonder walks you through each path in five minutes, tags every curriculum by its style, and lets you mix and match without the overwhelm.

Pip, a small neural engine
PIP · A SMALL NEURAL ENGINE, ON THE DEVICE
MEET PIP · Promise I, performed ·

Pip, our owl-genius and the heart of the whole system, is a tutor that lives entirely on your device. He runs on a small neural engine, like a brain, trained to use the science of memory to explain, practice, and perfectly recall each concept at exactly the right moment.

Listens as they read aloud. Rhema™ matches their voice to the words and gently helps their pronunciation, word by word.
Explains the lesson out loud. When a child is stuck, Pip talks it through audibly, pitched to their learning level.
Grades handwritten work, and it can't be gamed. Whether your child uses a stylus or a physical notebook, Pip grades it from a device-camera scan or the built-in scratch pad. Because every answer is handwritten and read by Pip, it can't be typed, pasted, or AI-generated. From arithmetic to full essays, he reads their handwriting and marks it fairly.
Answers to you, the teacher. Every grade Pip gives is reviewable in the parent app, and the child has an appeal button that sends any decision to you for human review. Pip is your aide, never the authority.
Sends them yonder. Reading and writing culture has made us a sedentary, slow-blooded people. At smart intervals, timed by the neural science of attention, Pip sends your student up and out to move, and smartwatch compatibility uses the pedometer to know how much movement they actually took.

All of it happens on the device itself. No internet connection needed, no account, nothing sent anywhere. Promise VII, kept.

AFIELD
"Find something older than your house, and photograph it."
Setup Pip to send them outside: learning that ends in the real world and making a priority of their physical health. Promise V, kept.

THE GUIDE · Promise VIII, kept ·
A PARENT APP, COMING WITH LAUNCH

Most parents are handed a library and told to choose. The Guide begins somewhere kinder: the Five-Minute Philosophies, short films that walk each homeschool path in five minutes or less.

From there, every curriculum in Yonder and the Marketplace carries gentle tags for the philosophy it draws from, and you can mix and match by subject: one path for reading, another for arithmetic. Easy, and never overwhelming.

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

Why Yonder looks and feels the way it does. Slide through the convictions behind every screen.

I.
Paper first.

Cream, ink, and quiet. The screen behaves like a book page, not a slot machine: no feeds, no badges, no noise.

II.
Formation over addiction.

Nothing scrolls forever and nothing begs for attention. A day in Yonder has a beginning, a middle, and an end.

III.
Walked by hand.

Handwriting, recitation, reading aloud, and miles outdoors: the body learns alongside the mind.

IV.
The parent is the teacher.

Pip is an aide, never the authority. Every grade is reviewable, every decision appealable to you.

V.
Old books, new craft.

Time-tested materials, set in beautiful type with the era's own paintings and woodcuts, on modern hardware.

VI.
Quiet technology.

Everything lives on the device and nothing calls home. The best technology disappears into the learning.

VII.
Paperweight.

The Yonder app itself, tuned to feel like paper. An e-ink reader is our recommendation, but on the hardware you already own it still reads like a book.

VIII.
Low-blue-light by design.

On any screen, Yonder is drawn as a warm, low-blue-light surface with soft type, so a child can read for hours and still settle to sleep.
