Memorize Scripture by saying it aloud.
Engraved is a free Bible memory app that listens as you recite, checks each word, and brings every verse back for review just before you would forget it. No account and no ads. Free for everyone.
Your voice is processed on your device. It is never recorded or sent anywhere.
For when you need the words
One verse, spoken aloud.
Three steps, one verse at a time.

Choose a verse.
Pick from all 66 books, verse by verse, or start with one of 33+ curated bundles for grief, fear, weariness, waiting, doubt, and joy.
Say it aloud.
Rhema™, the built-in voice engine, follows along word by word, so you know right away whether you have it. Prefer typing? That works too.
Review before you forget.
Spaced repetition brings each verse back just before it would fade. Grace days mean a missed day does not cost you your progress.
Your voice never leaves your phone.
Voice recognition runs entirely on your device. Nothing you say is recorded, uploaded, or analyzed somewhere else.
- No account.
- There is nothing to sign up for and no email to hand over.
- No analytics or ads.
- We do not track how you use the app, and there is no advertising in it.
- Progress stays on the device.
- Each profile's verses and streaks live on the phone or device it was made on.
- Sharing is opt-in.
- A shared list code carries only the list name and verse references, never anyone's progress, voice, or identity.
Adjust it to the way you memorize.
Practice your way.
Classic mode walks you through rounds with shifting gaps before full recall. Drops fades the verse out over ten rounds, one word at a time. Both are adjustable.
Keep your translation.
Set a default translation, or choose one verse by verse, so a verse you learned years ago stays exactly as you learned it.
One device, the whole family.
Each profile keeps its own progress and voice tuning on a shared device, so Rhema recognizes every family member individually.
Test what stuck.
Once you have a few verses, the Chapter and Verse game asks you to name each reference. It is a quick way to see what you really know.
Run a Scripture memory program with nothing for anyone to sign up for.
The free path has no accounts and no dashboard. Share a download link and, if you like, a list code. That is all anyone needs to join.

Who makes Engraved, and why is it free?
Stabil Systems, a small company that builds software for the Church. A small team of supporters, including Stabil, subsidizes Engraved for the sake of Jesus Christ. How that works.
